I was not murdered
well,
at least, I had that going for me
seems better than the alternative
not being murdered
of course, seems better than being dead
then again, I may be wrong
murder seems so heinous
until you add torture and abuse
really, stuff you never get over
deliberately ignorant
even if they can't solve the crime
reason takes its time
even after three decades
decent people know better
